Canton Municipal Court Divorce Records

Divorce and dissolution of marriage actions originating within the territorial jurisdiction of the Canton Municipal Court are adjudicated in the Stark County Family Court, a specialized division of the Stark County Court of Common Pleas that combines the Domestic Relations and Juvenile Divisions. The Canton Municipal Court has no subject-matter jurisdiction over domestic relations proceedings.

  • Search the Stark County CJIS Website (choose FC for Family Court within the designated "Court" search field)
  • Visit or contact the Domestic Relations Division of the Stark County Clerk of Courts, which is located at the Stark County Office Building, Suite 690. The division can be reached at (330) 451-7792.

Plain copies of divorce records cost 10 cents per page, and certified copies (of any document) cost $1 per page (see also the Clerk's Deposits and Fees section).
